    Description

    New Paco 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" 27-R7S-BF Boiler Feedwater Pump w/ 3/4" drive shaft.  Was the spare for our 1979 150 hp boiler which failed after replacing the OEM mercury level switches with solid state switches.  (1st generation non-mercury switches did not work very well apparently.)  I assume it was meant to be coupled to a 3 or 5 hp 1800 rpm motor.  Have not heard back from current pump company that handles Paco Pumps for pump curves, but boiler was rated at 5175 lb steam/hr. Replaced failed 150 hp boiler with a 250 hp boiler about 5 years ago, so this one is not needed.
    This style horizontal "multistage" high pressure pump predates the more modern vertical centrifugal boiler feedwater pumps, and were all the rage back in 1980's and 1990's.  If you have one of similar size but wearing out, this one could save you a bundle on replumbing a newer vertical pump.
